A day at NSS:
Northern Star Sports aims to influence young children to create their own goals and dreams and reach them using their natural talents. We want to show them how to use sports as a tool to channel negative behavior into something productive. NSS focuses each lesson plan around a character objective such as teamwork, communication, respect, etc. This video shows a few of the activities we do and what the children take away from them.
The Pride Run:

Lead up to Pride Run 2013:
Friday, March 16, 2013, Northern Star Sports will be hosting the second annual PRIDE RUN! Stetser students from grades 2-5 will be coming to Widener's campus to work with the Widener athletes and do drills demonstrating character objectives. Several student organizations will be at Memorial Field either participating in the 2 mile run around campus, working with the children, or coordinating activities. There will be music, free food, games, etc, so be sure to come out!
